Foundations of School-Based Physical Therapy is an on-demand course that will provide six sessions and a summary session to highlight foundational information for school-based practice. Nationally recognized speakers will address federal laws, assessment, service provision, and specific student populations. This on-demand course will offer 7.9 contact hours (.079 CEUs), upon completion of all sessions and passing each post-test. Find out more in the APTA Pediatrics Education Hub!

• Knowledge-to-Action: Campbell’s Physical Therapy for Children - Pediatric Spinal Cord Injury Chapter 24. Register for one asynchronous session and/or two synchronous sessions (time and dates TBD based on registrant availability); you may opt to purchase a discounted e-book or hard copy of Campbell’s Physical Therapy for Children, Sixth Edition.
   
• Knowledge-to-Action: Pediatric Concussion. Registrants will view an online, asynchronous lecture- style overview of concussions including the metabolic cascade and principles for evidence-based treatment and recovery. The initial asynchronous session is available September 1-30, with synchronous sessions October 4 and November 1.

Navigating the world of legislation and advocacy can be complex. In these three live online sessions, presenters provide an introduction to advocacy and tools that PTs, PTAs, and students can use to influence change: Introduction to Advocacy (Sept 13), Taking Advocacy to the Next Level (Sept 26), and Advocacy in Action (Oct 4).
