The Social Determinants of Health in Pediatric Physical Therapy: Optimizing Health Outcomes course shares the influence of social determinants of health on health outcomes in pediatric physical therapy and how it provides the basis for effective, equitable and collaborative care. This cohort course combines three synchronous sessions and asynchronous learning to help you apply the key concepts and integrate these considerations as a necessary component of clinical decision making. Join us for the 22^nd Advanced Clinical Practice in Pediatric Physical Therapy Course. This 2.5-day course is geared toward advanced practice and is intended for experienced pediatric physical therapists with a strong desire to investigate current theories and evidence-based practice across settings. Physical therapists who are considering taking the Pediatric Certified Specialist exam through ABPTS are particularly encouraged to participate as part of their review. At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

1. Demonstrate advanced clinical competency in the provision of physical therapy services for children with diverse abilities and their families
2. Synthesize and describe contemporary theories and evidence-based practices, and
3. Integrate the theories and evidence presented into physical therapy practice patterns

Applications closed on 5/26/2023 for APTA Pediatrics Research Summit 6 on the topic of “Precision Rehabilitation Research for Children with Neuromotor Conditions.” Precision rehabilitation aims to deliver the right intervention, at the right time, to the right person, in the right setting. The goals of the summit are to: 1) finetune what precision rehabilitation means for pediatric physical therapy; 2) promote large-scale, multisite research related to advancing precision rehabilitation for children; and 3) develop collaborative networks among established/emerging physical therapy researchers and established researchers from multidisciplinary fields in precision rehabilitation.
